About Devoted2Him

Encouraging hearts and strengthening faith through the power of God’s Word

Welcome! My name is Joey McHale.

Several years ago, I came to see devotions differently—recognizing that they can serve as “mini power sermons.” When biblically grounded, they express God’s Word in deeply applicable ways—much like the impact of a Spirit-filled sermon. This realization transformed how I engage with Scripture.

Reading and studying God’s Word remain of supreme value, and listening to Bible-based preaching continues to stir my spirit. But I have discovered that biblically based devotions bring an additional richness—deepening the joy, strength, and personal application of God’s Word in everyday life.

The Power of Devotions

The Role of Artificial Intelligence

The Devoted2Him devotions were curated with the assistance of artificial intelligence. And yes — that might sound surprising or even concerning at first. On the surface, using AI to engage with Scripture could seem risky. Yet when used with prayer, discernment, and a commitment to biblical truth, AI can become a tool of stewardship — helping clarify, organize, and communicate the beauty of God’s Word more effectively.

AI was not used to replace the Holy Spirit’s guidance, nor to reinterpret Scripture. Rather, it was used carefully to refine language, maintain consistency, and enhance accessibility for readers. Each devotion has been prayerfully reviewed and spiritually considered to ensure alignment with biblical truth.

“Technology can be a tool for truth — when it serves the Word rather than replaces it.”

Many leading Bible study platforms and commentary publishers are now implementing AI technology to help believers deepen their understanding of Scripture. Devoted2Him shares this same purpose — using technology responsibly to make God’s truth more accessible, engaging, and applicable for daily life.

An Invitation to Grow in Christ

The purpose of Devoted2Him is simple: to help believers grow closer to Jesus Christ. These devotions are not substitutes for Scripture, but companions to it—tools to help you apply God’s Word personally, think devotionally, and walk more faithfully under the Lordship of Jesus.

May these writings stir your love for the Lord, renew your strength in His promises, and draw you into deeper intimacy with the One who is worthy of all devotion — Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
