Blessed Beyond Interference

No One Can Undo What God Has Declared

Numbers 23:20 — “Behold, I received a command to bless: he has blessed, and I cannot revoke it.”

Opening Reflection

When enemies scheme, accusations rise, or spiritual warfare intensifies, the question surfaces: can anyone derail God's plan? The story of Balaam and Balak shouts the answer—no one can undo what God has blessed. His word of favor is stronger than curses, opposition, or fear (Numbers 23:20).

Taking a Devotional View

God's blessing cannot be revoked. Balak, king of Moab, hired Balaam to curse Israel. But Balaam declared, “How can I curse whom God has not cursed?” (Numbers 23:8). God's covenant held firm. His blessing was immovable, even against royal schemes and spiritual opposition.

God's favor resists manipulation. Balak tried altars, sacrifices, and changing locations, but none of it could bend God's will. Even Balaam, with mixed motives, could only speak blessing. Human effort, wealth, or ritual cannot override divine favor (Proverbs 21:30).

God's people live from secure identity. In Christ, we have been blessed “with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 1:3). This unshakable reality means no accusation, curse, or enemy can cancel what God has spoken over our lives. His blessing defines us.
